10 Small Ways to Save the World

DON'T FEEL SMALL, YOU CAN DO GREAT THINGS TO SAVE THE WORLD. Right now, there is a lot going on in the world that is troubling for many of us. In fact, so many aweful things are happening all around us that we may feel helpless. To name a few, as Oprah has already chided to us, women's rights are being taken away, books are being banned, history is being retold, the US Supreme Court is dangerously corrupt, the debt ceiling is bankrupting us, the climate is killing us, the LGBTQIA+ community is being wrongfully attacked, the Cold War is back, and children are getting gunned down by military rifles in the streets. Wow! That's a lot to handle, right? Yet, we still try to go about living our lives acting as if nothing is wrong. Obviously, all of this is a total strain on our psyches, whether you choose to realize that or not. I have personally struggled with trying to maintain my focus on living a healthy and mentally stable life. I suspect many of you do as well. That str...

WHAT IS THE STATE OF BLACK ENTREPRENEURSHIP TODAY? According to recent trends pulled together by analysts a lot smarter than I am, Black entrepreneurship in America has made significant strides over the years, but it continues to face unique challenges. Historically, black entrepreneurs have faced systemic barriers, including limited access to capital, discrimination, and lack of opportunities. However, there have been positive developments. Many black entrepreneurs have emerged as successful business owners, contributing to the growth of the economy and creating jobs. They have excelled in various industries such as technology, finance, entertainment, retail, and more. We don't hear a lot about them because major moguls like Oprah, Jay-Z, Beyonce, and more pervade the media more than others. But they exist.
